St Andrews Beach – Long Exposures
Pictured below, a long exposure image from St Andrews Beach on the Mornington Peninsula. 10 seconds at f/20 using an ND400 filter.
The image is available to purchase as a print here at my Redbubble site.
Pictured below, a bit of long exposure selfie fun at St Andrews Beach.
The rocky looking structure leading out into the ocean is a “treated water” discharge pipe.
Gorgeous! I love how you put yourself into the last image…at least that’s what I assume you did since it looks like a long exposure. Very clever! The first image is just beautiful. I love how you kept the highlights down.

Thankyou Laura. The selfies are indeed long exposures. The first selfie is 4 seconds and the second is 5 seconds. The trick is to stay as still as possible for that period of time, ….not always easy on a windy day. 🙂

Oh you know what? I thought you literally put yourself in there in photoshop. You were so clear that I couldn’t imagine staying still for very long. haha

No photoshop trickery there. Just a lot of “staystillingness”. 🙂
